INTERACT in Science & Technology Week
The INTERACT project (“Integrative Research in Environment, Agro-Chains and Technology”) will attend at the Science & Technology Week 2019, promoted by the Rectory of the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD).
The initiative aims to demonstrate the research carried out within the transmontane academy, making known the projects and the faces of researchers. “What science is done? Who are the scientists? How do they work? What do they investigate? What results do they obtain? These are some questions that UTAD will try to answer”, institution said.
INTERACT’s participation will take place in the “Science at UTAD – Structuring Projects” meeting. Organized by the Rectory, this session will serve to present the “main indicators and results of R+D projects considered structuring at UTAD”. Besides INTERACT, indicators of Nanostima, Dourotur and the Vine and Wine Platform projects will also be presented. The initiative will be moderated by Professor Emídio Gomes, UTAD vice-rector for Research and Innovation.
The session will take place in the Exhibition Room of the Rectory of UTAD (former Academic Services), on November 28th from 3PM. Admission is free but requires registration on the event’s official website at https://eventos.utad.pt/cienciatecnologia/.
